This story is about a boy named Mac.
Mac says that he is a scientist.
One day a new kid came. He was from Washington. His name was Mac R.
Everyone hated Mac R because the day he came he started bragging all about his old school and how it's better.
Then one day their teacher Mrs. Tuttle announced that they were going to have a Science Fair. She said they could pick their partner and if they don't a pick a partner, she will choose it.
Mac and Mac R got chosen as partners!!!!
Then the next day it was Saturday and Mac road his bike to Mac R's apartment to think about what they were going to do for the Science Fair.
When Mac knocked on the door, Mac R answered and said in his spiderman pajama's " What are you doing here?".
"We are suppose to think about what we want to do for the Science Fair" Mac replied.
"Fine." he said "but a couple of minutes."
He took Mac to his room. Mac saw some drawings and said my uncle is a comic book artist. "Really" he responded. I always wanted to be a comic book artist" Mac R said. Then he took out a sketch of a comic book. Mac replied "Cool, but who's Ben?" "That's me. Ben is my real name."
The two boys decided to make a volcano for the Science Fair.
At the Science Fair when Mac got there he saw Ben with the Volcano. Ben forgot the vinegar!!!!!
So then a girl next to them gave them lemon juice and you know what happen to the Volcano... It EXPLODED!!!!!!!!
And they got an Honorable Mention.


I recommend this book because it's a fun book and I bet you can't put the book down. Well, I couldn't put it down.

My favorite character is BEN because he loves to DRAW like me.

No Talking

The charters in no talking are Dave, Lynsey, all of the 5th grade teachers Mrs Overby, Mrs Marlow, Mr Burton Mrs Akers, Mrs Henely , and the principle Mrs. Hiatt.

The settings are at Laketon Elementaty School, at Dave's house, and at the school cafeteria.

This story is about a boy and a girl named Dave and Lynsey. They made a contest for the whole 5th grade to stop talking. The students could only say three words to the teachers and fellow students to be respectful. The teachers want the 5th grade to talk when it's Ok and be quiet when they need to. At the end Dave asked the principle Mrs. Hiatt if she would like to join the contest. She agreed . After that she called a school assembly for all students except kindergarten, she said 1-5 grade are doing a contest for no talking for 23 hours. The next day when it was 5th grade lunch, at 12:15 they could talk again. In the 5th grade is was a tie between the girls and boys.

I recommend this book because it is fun to read. I had a hard time putting it down.
